SM2288 independent animation project

This is my submission for the final assignment of SM2288.

It took me ~48 hours to complete this 5 second animation, from rough sketching to fully colored. I hadn't quite figured out the background for the animation at the time.

I'm satisfied with the movement, but the brush strokes and background elements need a lot more work. I may remove the outlines altogether to achieve the vector effect I mentioned in the beginning.

For this stage, I believe that it's sufficient for me to have a decent idea on what to improve on the next stage. I'll also implement more lighting and camera movement. I still may play around with the idea of using 3D, but it's all up to time as well.
